OSCARS ANYONE???

Congratulations to Octavia Spencer and Diddy on winning Oscars last night as they attended the 84th Annual Academy Ceremony. These two are very TALENTED and INSPIRING individuals and the awards won were very well deserved.


Octavia Spencer from the movie "The Help" won best SUPPORTING actress from the film and looked amazing last night as she accepted her award. She showed her HAPPINESS and APPRECIATION through tears which moved the crowd. Congrats Octavia! JOB WELL DONE!


The  "Man Who Never Sleeps," Diddy WON an oscar for the film "Undefeated." The creative ENTREPRENEUR  executive produced the film and it won Best Documentary. This award is another joy that COMPLIMENTS his success. "LETS WORK" DIDDY!

And lets not forget Fashionista Jennifer Lopez!!!!

Is BEAUTY costing you more than it should? Ladies we can all be PICKY about the way we like our nails to look, but the cost doesn't always have to be so PRICEY, if we weigh our options and be smart. Lets consider "Gel Nail Polish" It lasts longer than the regular nail polish.  It does not chip and stays neat. 

Although it can cost you anywhere from $25 and up your polish will stay on for at least 2-3 weeks verses paying $8 to $10 per week and dealing with chipped nails throughout the week. So next time its "Mani Time" consider "Gel Nail Polish!" Not only will you LOVE IT, it's Soooo WORTH IT!!!

Today I wanna show love and appreciation to my fellow Alumni mates and good friends Marq&Raisa. Marq&Raisa is a brand based in Los Angeles, CA created by two fashion design Alumni of FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) Marquita and Raisa clothing line has the likes of SOCIALITES, and reality TV stars that are already dressed in their clothes, to set them on their way!  


Their philosophy; “edgy and clean, complicated simplicity, conveying the contradiction of life, through fashion.” Their dress group will be Launching early APRIL 2012. 


To say the least these girls have put in the blood sweat and tears and are ready to get the recognition they deserve. Look out for Marq&Raisa coming to a location near you.

Not sure if's its just me or not but while out shopping for one of my clients today it seemed like Christmas Shopping all over again.... The malls were packed with longer than usual lines for fitting rooms and food courts. 


When I asked why are there so many people in the mall. A few chuckled and responded its income tax season. A lot of people were spending their extra cash...


Personally if your not a professional shopper I'd advise you to stay home and shop online...Warning online shopping does become addictive so please be aware in advance, pace your self.

Have you ever been so "Drunk On Love" you needed to check into "Rehab"? Maybe you were just living day by day in a "Mad House" whenever your significant other went "A Million Miles Away." Movie Tavern

So last night while rocking my vintage Tee by Crash and Burn I finally took some me time to hang out with one of my besties. We ended up going to Movie Tavern in Collegeville PA. I had such a NICE time. The atmosphere was relaxed and caring. The staff were young fun and relatable. The food was tasteful as well especially enjoying it from the comfort of our theater seats. To top it off we went to see Safe House staring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds.

I say all this to say Ladies go here to let your hair down with that special someone or just kicking it with your girls. Fellas if your looking to stand out and let her know your a keeper make sure you introduce her to Movie Tavern. Do it right before the next one will.

Movie Tavern is one of my new homes away from home. I will defiantly be going back  sooner than later...

Are you online? First Impressions are everything. You only get one chance to make a first impression. If your someone who has a Brand a Skill or Trade or you just want your presence to be known. Than you better have a web presence. It is very important to understand the importance of being on the Internet. If your not online then how will your business grow? How will others know you exist? 

Here's what I would suggest beings tho I was in this situation just a week ago.  I searched online for sites that were user friendly and could guide me thru creating a web site for myself. Unfortunately I didn't realize how much time and energy goes into creating a website. This was not my area of expertise like Fashion Styling. So while searching the Internet I discovered  Unraveled Media . 

Unraveled Media was right there for my every beck and call no matter what time of day or night. Mostly it was thru email but if I needed to speak with someone guess what my calls were always answered. I couldn't have asked for a better company to work with on my first project. Every thing was completed in a timely manner and to my liking always. 

From professionalism and customer service to product knowledge Unraveled Media  was excellent. With that being said  I'm sure I'll see you promoting your self online soon.

R.I.P Whitney Houston

Welcome and thank you for visiting. It saddens me to blog my very first post on the death of legendary icon Whitney Houston.  I wouldn't feel right not showing any appreciation....  She will be greatly missed.

Her voice and music was like no other.  I'm not sure if it's just me but when you listen to a Whitney Houston song your guaranteed to feel chills. From her hits such as I look to you, One moment in time, My love is your love, On my own, The greatest love of all, and lets not forget one of my all time favorites I will always love you.

She song those songs in particular as if she was preparing for this day... My prayers go out to all her close family and friends. On behalf of Moore Kisha Style and everyone who grew up listening to the likes of  Whitney Houston......We Love You Whitney May You Rest In Peace...
